I have slept terribly the last two nights... four hours last night... and maybe three the night before. Too much on my mind, compounded by Woody wanting to use my uterus as a playgym, it has been very difficult settling down. Still, I slept hard enough to dream a couple nights ago. Here is my strange dream:
I dreamt that Woody had yet to be born, but I was holding him in my arms. He wanted to turn over and nurse and I was so distressed because... well, he wasn't yet born and there was no milk. Strange how I didn't question why he was on the outside of my body if he was still waiting to be born. I have been trying to decipher some wise message from my dream, but haven't been able to think of anything. Sleep deprivation is not helping. Any ideas?
Our friends Matt and Janna took the sweetest belly picture during her pregnancy. I thought it would be nice for us to do one of our own. Here is one similar of us, on Woody's due date.

sue - exciting! i can't wait! love you!
Love the picture! It was great to see you both tonight and I have a feeling it will be the last time I see you before Woody's arrival. As I said, I am very excited for you both-congrats! Isn't it strange to think that from now on everyday will be the last of that particular day of the week without baby---next Thursday, Friday,Saturday, etc. you & Kevin will be enjoying your little man and in awe of the amazing changes he has made in your life. Can't wait to hear about his arrival!
1 cm is great! I was still 0 cm, even after 24 hours of labor! So, rejoice in your one centimeter and 50% effacement! It's progress! Only 9 cm to go. He'll be here before you know it. Rest up, the best you can. Bring your boppy pillow to the hospital--it helps with newborn nursing.
Sue,
It was nice to see you too! Pregnant and all! waiting isn't fun, but in a blink of an eye he will be 2! Or you will be thinking where did those 10 years go? (Yes, in October it will be 10 years away from G-land).
good luck!
Joyce
I can't wait to see Woody! I hope you have a great last week without baby. Everyone tells you to rest alot, which I found impossible the last month. Congrats!
